We worship first and foremost by honoring Gaia with mindfulness in every step of our daily life on this planet.  Whether we worship alone, or gather together in large or small groups, we can choose to share these words in common, to unify our intention in energy from heart to heart and hand to hand.  Many of us have a stone or crystal that we bring with us as we create Sacred Space, to connect us to the bones of the earth, and to be a receptacle and conduit for our energy.

THE SELF-BLESSING (Group Purification)

I am one with Universal Energy, for I am its creation.

It is my eyes, and I see clearly.

CALLING THE ELEMENTAL COMPASS

I am one with the Air, the breath of life. From the East, I receive clarity, which I transform into ideas. I am one with the Fire, the passions of life. From the South, I receive passion, which I transform into activity. I am one with the Water, the flow that connects all life. From the West, I receive emotion, which I transform into responsibility. I am one with the Earth, Gaia who gives us life. From the North, I receive stability, which I transform into accomplishment.

CASTING THE CIRCLE

From heart to heart and hand to hand,

(If holding a stone, hold it in your right hand.  Place your left hand over heart, reach to take the right hand of the person to your left, and looking at each other, together say)

We are one people, serving Gaia

(this is repeated, building in voices as each person is added to the circle until the final triumphant proclamation of all voices saying)

We are one people serving Gaia.

We are Gaia, Gaia is with us.

She appears with the moonrise, as She returns to light the night sky with her ever changing face and its silver light of mystery.

Her potential is wisdom. Her power is emotion.

Reborn each night from darkness is She who brings forth hope and mystery.
Returning each morning from darkness is He who is our single source of light and life.

Her womb brings forth regeneration in the never ending cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
